About Us

UMEYD | Timeless Women’s Fashion

A favorite sweater is rarely worn just one way. Layer it over a shirt on Monday, pair it with jeans on Saturday, or tuck it into your bag for a cool evening. That kind of repeat wear is the starting point for UMEYD.

Who we are

UMEYD is an online women’s clothing brand offering its own label. Our collection brings together knitwear, shirts, trousers, denim, dresses and outerwear. We use familiar shapes as a starting point, with details such as a textured stitch, a particular neckline or a plaid that picks up another color in an outfit.

Our mission

We want getting dressed to feel easier. A piece should make sense alongside clothes you already own. That might mean a straight-leg trouser that works with both a fine knit and a tucked shirt, or a jacket with enough room for your usual layer.

Our vision

We envision a wardrobe that becomes more personal with time: fewer pieces that only work for a single occasion, and more combinations you can return to without having to start over each season.

What guides the collection

Versatility. We look at how a piece works on its own and as part of an outfit. A neutral layer can balance a pattern; one bright knit can change the feel of familiar denim.
Individual style. Color, pattern and fit are choices. Our styling is an invitation to try a combination, not a rule about how it must be worn.
Clarity. A useful description tells you something a photograph cannot: the fabric blend, the feel of a stretch panel, the length, or how to care for the piece. See the details for the style and color you are considering.
Practical care. Different fabrics need different treatment. Read the product notes before buying and follow the sewn-in care label once your order arrives.

A good place to start

Pick one piece you already love and build around it. If it is a striped shirt, try a plain knit in one of the stripe colors; if it is wide-leg denim, try a shorter jacket to vary the proportions. You can write at any time. Messages are reviewed during service hours. If you have already contacted us about the same order, reply to the existing email thread so we can see the earlier details.

What to include

Before you buy: Send the product name or link, the color and size you are considering, and what you would like to know. For fit advice, tell us whether you prefer a close or relaxed fit.
An existing order: Include your order number, the email address used at checkout, and the item concerned. For a delivery question, include the tracking status if you have one.
A return or exchange: Tell us the item, delivery date, reason for the request and, for an exchange, the size or color you would prefer. See Returns & Exchanges before mailing anything.
A damaged or incorrect item: Describe what arrived and how it differs from your order. A clear photo of the item or affected area can help. Cover any personal information on package labels.
A payment question: Include the order number if one exists, the date, amount and the wording of any error. Never send your full card number, security code, password or one-time verification code.

Payment Methods

UMEYD checkout offers Visa and Mastercard credit and debit cards where available for your order. Our base currency is US dollars (USD). Some markets may display prices in a local currency. Before you authorize a payment, check the currency alongside the final total and confirm the delivery address.

Review your total before paying

Choose your size, color and quantity, then open your bag. Enter the delivery address to see the shipping options available for that order. Apply any eligible discount and review the merchandise subtotal, shipping, applicable taxes and total. A promotional price on a product page is not the final amount for a delivered order.

If your card account is in a different currency from the checkout total, your issuer may apply its own exchange rate or foreign transaction fee. UMEYD does not set that rate or control issuer fees. Ask your issuer about conversion costs before you submit the order.

Paying by card

Enter your card details only in the payment fields at checkout. Use the billing details held by your card issuer; the delivery address can be different where checkout permits it.
If the issuer asks you to verify the purchase, follow its instructions in the bank or checkout verification screen. Never send a verification code to customer service.
After submitting, look for an order number or confirmation email. Save it for shipping, return or billing questions.

Common payment questions

Why was my payment declined?

Check the expiry date, billing address and available funds. Your issuer may also restrict international or online purchases. If the details are correct, ask the issuer about the decline. If checkout still fails, email us with the approximate time, currency and error message. Please omit all card credentials.

I see a pending charge but no confirmation. Should I pay again?

Check your spam folder and the email address you entered. A pending authorization is not always a completed charge. Before trying again, contact us so we can look for an order. Your bank can explain a pending hold and when it may be released.

I may have paid twice. What should I send?

Send your order number if available, the dates and amounts shown, and whether the entries are pending or posted. If you attach a screenshot, hide card and account numbers, balances and unrelated transactions.

Where does a refund go?

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. The date a credit appears on your statement depends on the provider or issuer. See Returns & Exchanges for eligibility and the return process.

Payment safety and help

Use the payment methods displayed at checkout. Do not email card numbers, security codes, online banking passwords or one-time codes. If a message asks for payment credentials or directs you to pay outside checkout, pause and contact us through the address below.

Returns & Exchanges

If a size or style does not work for you, email uwbp6865@outlook.com to request a return or exchange within 30 days of delivery. Include the order number and the item you wish to return. We will tell you where to send it and how to identify your parcel.

Eligible condition

Items returned because of fit, color or preference should be unused, unworn, unwashed and unaltered, with the original tags attached and the original packaging intact. Please check the product page for any item-specific hygiene or safety restriction before ordering. If an item arrived damaged, defective or different from what you ordered, contact us even if the packaging was opened to inspect it.

How to request a return

Write to us. Use “Return request — [order number]” as the subject. In the message, identify each item, color and size, state the reason, and tell us whether you prefer a refund or an exchange. Do not include a card number or bank details.
Get the correct return instructions. We will check the request and provide the return destination and any labeling instructions. Please wait for these instructions before buying a shipping label or sending your parcel. We use the New York address on our Contact Us page for business correspondence.
Send the item and keep proof. Pack it so the item and tags are protected. Include the order reference as instructed. Keep your carrier receipt and tracking number until your return is resolved.

Who pays for return shipping?

You pay the return shipping if you change your mind or return an item because of fit, color or personal preference. If we sent the wrong item or your item arrived defective, UMEYD pays the return shipping. Email us before paying for postage so we can give you the instructions for your return.

Damaged, defective or incorrect items

Please email us within 7 days of delivery with the order number, a description of the problem and, where possible, photos showing the item, the relevant detail and the packaging. Please do not pay to send the item back before contacting us. We will review the issue and explain the appropriate next step. These reporting guidelines do not limit consumer rights that apply by law.

Exchanging a size or color

Tell us which size or color you would prefer. Exchanges depend on availability when the request is processed; sending a request does not reserve stock. If the requested option is unavailable, we will discuss the available alternatives with you rather than send a different item without agreement.

Refunds and following up

After the returned item is received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method. Your issuer controls when the credit appears on your statement. If you have received a refund confirmation but cannot see the credit, check with the issuer and then email us with the order number and refund date.

What we collect and why

Shopping and delivery. When you order, we use your name, email address, billing and delivery details, the items and variants you selected, and the payment result to complete the purchase, arrange delivery, provide tracking and handle returns. A delivery phone number, if you provide one at checkout, may be used to help deliver that order.
Payments. Payment providers process the payment details you enter at checkout. We use transaction references and payment status to match a payment to an order, investigate a billing question, issue an approved refund or respond to fraud. Please do not send card numbers, security codes, passwords or bank verification codes by email.
Customer service. We use your message, order number and any photos you choose to supply to answer questions about fit, delivery, damaged items or exchanges. When sending a photo, crop out information we do not need, such as your payment details or the address on a parcel label.
Site use. Technical details such as IP address, browser, device and pages visited may be collected through cookies and similar technologies. These help operate the storefront, remember preferences, understand how pages perform and detect misuse.
Email updates. If you subscribe, we use your email address to send news and offers. You can unsubscribe using the link in a marketing email. Unsubscribing does not stop service messages about an order you placed.

Who receives information

We use service providers to operate the storefront and checkout, process payments, deliver parcels, send email, measure site use and assist with support. For example, a carrier needs delivery details, while a payment processor needs information relevant to the transaction. We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may disclose information where required by law or to address fraud or protect legal rights.

Cookies and your choices

Cookies can keep items in your bag and remember settings as you move between pages. Other cookies and similar tools can help us understand use of the site. You can manage cookies in your browser and use any privacy controls offered on the storefront. Blocking essential cookies may prevent the bag or checkout from working.

Retention and safeguards

How long information is needed depends on its purpose. Records of a purchase may be needed after delivery for returns, payment disputes, accounting or legal requirements. A support message may be needed while an issue is being resolved. We use safeguards intended to protect personal information; no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Access, corrections and other requests

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, obtain a copy of or delete your information, withdraw consent or object to or limit certain uses. To make a request, email us with the subject “Privacy request,” describe what you would like us to do and, where possible, write from the email address used for your order. We may need proportionate verification before disclosing or changing personal information. Some records may need to be retained where permitted or required by law.

Shipping Information

Delivery options depend on the items in your bag, your destination and the order value. Enter your complete delivery address at checkout to see the shipping methods and charges available before you pay. A country in the address selector does not by itself mean that a rate is available for every address or order.

Processing and transit are separate

We normally process an order within 1–3 business days after payment is confirmed. Orders received on weekends or public holidays begin processing on the next business day. This is the time to prepare an order for dispatch, not a promise that the parcel will arrive within three days. Peak periods can affect preparation times.

Transit starts after the parcel is handed to the carrier. Delivery estimates depend on the service and destination; weather, customs checks and local delivery conditions can affect them. Review any estimate shown for your address at checkout. If an expected dispatch date changes, we will contact you about the delay and the options for the unshipped order, including cancellation and refund where applicable.

Shipping charges and availability

Review the shipping line after entering your address and applying any discounts. Some order values qualify for a zero-cost rate in some destinations; there is no single free-shipping threshold for every market. For international orders, check whether taxes or duties are included in your total. Questions about local import charges can be directed to the relevant customs office before ordering.

If no method appears, or a fee looks unexpected, do not submit payment. Email your destination country, postal code, items and subtotal to customer service so we can check the available rate. Please do not send card details.

Before the parcel leaves

Check the recipient name, street and apartment or suite number, city, postal code and country on the order confirmation. If something is wrong, email us promptly with the order number and corrected information. We can review a change request before dispatch; changes may no longer be possible after the parcel has been handed to the carrier.

Tracking and delivery problems

No dispatch email: Check the inbox and spam folder for the address used at checkout. If the usual processing period has passed, send us your order number for an update.
Label created, no movement: A label can appear before the carrier records its first scan. If tracking remains unchanged beyond the estimate, send the tracking reference to us.
Marked delivered, not received: Confirm the address and check with your household, building desk or designated delivery location. If the parcel is still missing, contact us with the order number and tracking event so we can help investigate.
